Persuasive Language Feature

L.I: To unpack the language features found in persuasive writing.

Punishments in schools was unfair in 1900.

Rhetorical Question:
Do you like getting caned for saying thanks?

Repetition:
Remember when we were shown how to do stuff, remember when we didn't get caned.

Emotive Language:
We are hard working students and we don't want to write lines just because I came late, at least I came to school!

Exaggeration:
If I get in trouble again for saying thanks I will never come to school again.

Facts and Statistics:
95% of children don't want to be caned
