Holiday Reading Challenge (Drowned Planet) By Teagan

Does my brother look scary? I read the book Drowned Planet by Sally Odgers which was a graphic novel. In the book there was a character that lived in the water. It was a monster. I decided to take a picture of my brother and make him look like the monster. The monster had green horns and a green staff. Now my brother thinks he is the scariest monster ever roaring  everywhere.

This book is called Jake the Shredder which is written by Mike Stewart. This book is a graphic novel. This character that I have drawn is called Jake. Jake is a great skater he has a friend called Betty and him and her always like to skateboard after school.

The book that I made a new cover of is called Alien Rescue. Alien Rescue was written by Keira Wong. This book is a graphic novel. I think my cover is better because you can see the alien getting rescued from the mountain swine. My cover is the one on the left and the book is the one on the right.

This book is a graphic novel. I have to read 3 novels this holidays so I can improve on my reading. The book that I have just read is called Most Valuable Player. I have took a picture of me dressed up as Ashley Thompson the main character in the story. She is the one in the middle of the book on the left and I am on the right.

This is my character analysis on Poddy. Poddy is in the story crash, he saves his brother and his dad from a car crash.

I am a seashell: Teagan

I am a wave

I am a wave

Waiting to be

stopped.

I dance upon

the seashells and sand.

I am like a hammer

flattening the rocks

into little pieces.

The waves are the

cymbals in the orchestra

of the ocean.

The white foam is

my teeth nibbling on the

childrens feet.

I am sometimes rough

and sometimes soft.

I like being a wave

because I get to swim

the people.

This is my poem on being a wave. We had to write a poem based on the poem I am a seashell.
