State of Mind Poster : Teagan

This is my state of mind poster. We read a poem about a state of mind. Then our class had to make a poster on one of the points in that the poet uses.

I Know Someone: By Teagan

I Know Someone

I know someone who can

clench their knuckles to make a cracking sound.

I know someone who can

shape their tongue into a T.

I know someone who can

raise one eyebrow

and leave the other eyebrow down.

I know someone who can

throw food in the air

and catch it with their mouth.

I know someone who can

throw a rugby ball up in the air

and get someone to pass another rugby ball to him

and pass it back

and catch the ball that was in the air.

I know someone who is

a brick wall

and can knock down the opposition in rugby.

I know someone who can

juggle a soccer ball

like David Beckham.

I know someone who is

a cheetah running through the defence

like the try line is its prey.

And that someone is

ME.
