Museum: Teagan

We went to the Panmure library and met 3 people from the Auckland museum and Ruth from the library. First we had to walk down from our school to our library. Then they told us a story about the rat(Kiore) and the octopus(Feke). Next we made roa which were hula skirts. Finally we got back to school. My favourite part was watching the people dance in the hula skirts. 

My Transformation Art: Teagan

This is my transformation art. It uses 3 media-Pastel, Crayon&Dye and Paint. It shows 3 transformations: The first row is translate, the second row is rotated and the last row is reflected. I really the dark and light colours because it looks really nice. Next time I would change my pattern to a different pattern. 

I Hear: Teagan

When I think of rugby 
I hear

The coaches last minute talk for the game.

We run out. The crowd roars.

Then growl at the opposition

All sit all wait.

The smack of the foot kicking the ball sounds like a shotgun.

The winger is a cheetah running down the sideline.

Bang! goes the shoulder into the jaw.

Try scored crowd roars.

Game ends, crowd singing like a birds from the treetops.

This is my xtra maths score. I got 2 wrong so hopefully next time I can get them all right.

State of Mind Poster : Teagan

This is my state of mind poster. We read a poem about a state of mind. Then our class had to make a poster on one of the points in that the poet uses.

Favourite Sports: Teagan

 Andre and I made this graph on the top 5 sports in our classroom. The top 2 were rugby and soccer with a total of 8. Netball was third with a total of 3. Basketball and Rugby league were last with a total of 1 each.
